Incredible value

You cannot get this quality elsewhere at this price. A-grade slate, solid wood, leather pockets — competitors charge $2k more for equivalent specs.

Better than the showroom tables

Went to three billiard showrooms before ordering online. This plays better than anything I tested in person at the same price. The leveling system is a genuine differentiator.

Solid, heavy, gorgeous

Weighs a ton — exactly what you want in a slate table. Rails have great rebound and the felt is perfectly tensioned. Customer service was responsive when I had a leveling question.

Good table but delivery was a nightmare

The table itself is a solid product — flat slate, good build quality. However the freight carrier lost my delivery for 3 weeks with no updates. I had to chase both the company and the carrier repeatedly. It eventually arrived with a dent in the outer crate, though the table inside was okay. Support was helpful once I got through, but the carrier let everyone down. Plays well now that it's set up.

Light oak elegance

The light oak arch design fits my bright modern space perfectly. Looks like furniture. Tournament-grade play.

Elegant and solid

The double-arch base is elegant and the build is rock solid. The light oak finish is gorgeous against the black felt.

The double arch base is beautiful

The Haven's twin arched oak bases are stunning. Light wood with black felt is a perfect combo. Plays dead flat.

Great product, frustrating freight experience

Solid table — quality wood, flat slate, nice felt. The freight carrier handling was the weak point: poor communication on scheduling and a missed appointment. Outer crate had forklift scuffs but the table was perfectly protected inside. Company was responsive when I flagged it. Set up now and it's excellent. The carrier is what costs the stars.

Repeat customer

So happy with my first table I ordered a second for our lake cabin. Same great experience — same quality, same careful packaging, same accurate timeline.

Perfect for a serious player

Rails are tight and responsive, felt is fast, slate is dead flat. If you play seriously you'll appreciate all of this.

Plays better than my local pool hall

Not joking — plays better than three of the four tables at my local hall. Flatter slate, more consistent cushions. Thrilled.

Best investment for my home

My wife was skeptical about spending this much but after seeing it set up, she's the one playing it most. Looks like furniture, not a game table. Zero regrets.

Hotel lounge upgrade

Installed in our hotel's billiard lounge. Guests love it, it's become a highlight of the property. Refined enough for an upscale setting and holds up to constant use.

Clubhouse upgrade was a success

Installed in our golf club lounge. Members started using it immediately. Complements the room perfectly — looks like furniture, not arcade equipment.

Bought for our rental property

Installed in our Airbnb game room. Guests consistently mention it in reviews. Held up to hundreds of games without issues. Finish is durable and felt has stayed tight.

Exceeded every expectation

I've been eyeing a slate pool table for years and finally pulled the trigger. The craftsmanship is unreal. Setup took about 3 hours with two people but instructions are clear. Ball roll is dead flat. Worth every penny.

My favorite purchase of the year

Gets played every single night. Build quality is exceptional and the support team was great when I had questions about leveling.

Great table, minor assembly learning curve

Excellent table — flat slate, quality felt, looks stunning. Only reason for 4 stars is the assembly instructions could be clearer on the leveling step. Once level, it plays beautifully.

Rock solid, plays like a dream

Doesn't move, doesn't flex. The slate is perfectly flat, cushions have great rebound, felt is tournament quality. Everything a slate table should be.

Arrived in perfect condition

Crate was built like a tank. Every panel individually wrapped and secured. Zero damage. Went together smoothly and has played perfectly since day one.

The whole family is hooked

Bought for myself but now my kids won't leave it alone. Built tough — taken some aggressive teenage play with no wear. The slate is unforgiving of bad shots which is great for improving.

Our office break room is now the most popular spot

Best employee perk we've added. People actually take breaks now. Looks professional enough for client visits too.

    Have Questions?
    We Have Answers.

Got questions about your Blackwell table? Find answers about delivery, assembly, warranty, and more.

    How do I contact support?

You can reach us by email at contact@blackwellbilliards.com or via the chat on our website. We respond within 24 hours, 7 days a week. For urgent delivery issues, please include your order number and photos in your first message.

    Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. All Blackwell tables come with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects, structural issues, and slate integrity. Normal wear on felt, rubber cushions, and accessories is not covered. Contact us at any time and we will make it right.

What if a part is missing or broken?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We ship replacement parts free of charge. For structural or slate issues, we coordinate directly with the factory for a replacement shipment.

    When am I charged?

You are charged in full at the time of ordering. This triggers the start of your 30-day production window. If you choose Shop Pay Installments, your first payment is due at checkout and subsequent payments follow your selected schedule.

How do I pay? Is it secure?

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments with SSL encryption. Your payment information is never stored on our servers.

    Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer monthly financing through Shop Pay Installments, powered by Affirm. You can split your purchase into monthly payments directly at checkout. Rates and terms are shown at the time of purchase based on your profile.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Because every Blackwell table is custom-built to order, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind. If your table arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, we will replace the affected parts or the full table at no cost. We strongly encourage you to review all dimensions, specifications, and room requirements before ordering.

Can I level the slate myself?

Yes. Each Blackwell table features a built-in 3-piece slate leveling system with accessible hex adjustment screws at each joint. You can level the table yourself using the included hex key. We recommend checking the level after delivery and adjusting as needed.

Is assembly difficult? Do I need tools?

Assembly is straightforward and designed for home installation. All necessary hardware is included. You will need 2 people for lifting and positioning the slate pieces. The built-in slate leveling system allows you to fine-tune each piece independently for a perfectly flat surface.

    How long does assembly take?

Most customers complete assembly in 2–4 hours with 2 people. The table ships fully crated with all hardware and an assembly guide included. No special tools are required beyond what's provided in the box.

What room size do I need?

As a general rule, add at least 5 feet (60 inches) to each side of the table to allow comfortable cueing. For an 8 ft table (103 × 59 in), we recommend a minimum room size of approximately 19 × 14 ft. For a 9 ft table, plan for at least 20 × 15 ft.

What size table should I choose?

We offer 7 ft, 8 ft, and 9 ft tables. The 8 ft is the most popular choice for home use — it matches the standard size used in American pool halls and tournaments. The 7 ft is ideal for smaller rooms, while the 9 ft is the full regulation tournament size preferred by serious players. See the Specifications section on each product page for exact dimensions.

    Can I customize my table?

Yes. Felt color and wood veneer finish can be customized on request. Contact us before placing your order to discuss your preferences. Custom orders follow the same 30-day production timeline.

    What felt colors are available?

Each table comes standard in one of 5 colors: Black, Dark Gray, Royal Blue, Camel, or Green. We also offer 11 additional colors on request including Burgundy, Purple, Yellow, Orange, and more. Select your color at checkout or contact us to discuss custom options.

What wood is the frame made of?

The Blackwell Meridian features North American oak rails and frame with solid hardwood structure, finished in a high-end PE metallic paint.

Is this a slate or MDF table?

All Blackwell tables feature a genuine 3-piece A-grade Jiujiang slate bed — the same type of slate used in professional tournament halls — with one exception: the Blackwell Essential 8ft model, which uses a high-density MDF bed.

Slate is heavier, more durable, and provides a perfectly flat playing surface that won't warp over time, making it the preferred choice for serious players. The Essential 8ft is designed as a more budget-friendly option while still offering excellent playability for home use.

Do you deliver everywhere in the US?

Yes, we deliver to all 48 contiguous US states. For Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations, please contact us before ordering for a custom shipping quote.

How many people do I need to help unload?

Please have 2 adults available on delivery day to help guide the crate off the truck. The driver will assist with the unloading process. The crate is heavy — a pool table with a slate bed weighs between 400 and 550 lbs depending on the size.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

Yes. Your table will be delivered by freight truck. You'll receive a call 48–72 hours before delivery to schedule a time window that works for you. Please ensure someone is available at the address on delivery day.

What if the table arrives damaged?

We photograph and video every table at the factory before shipment, and all tables are professionally crated for ocean freight. In the rare event of transit damage, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange replacement parts or a full replacement at no cost to you.

    How long does delivery take?

Every Blackwell table is built to order. Production takes approximately 30 days, followed by 6–8 weeks of sea freight transit to the US. Total estimated delivery is 10–12 weeks from your order date. You'll receive a tracking update as soon as your shipment departs the factory.
